Keti Wade
Executive Director, Founder
Keti is a successful attorney in the Chicagoland area specializing in products liability, professional liability, general liability, and medical malpractice. As a first-generation immigrant, she experienced firsthand the challenges of financing her education after the untimely loss of her father. Despite working multiple jobs, it was the generosity of early benefactors that allowed her to complete law school and realize her dream of becoming an attorney. Having achieved her version of the American Dream, Keti founded the David Mebuke Foundation (DMF) to support underrepresented and disadvantaged students in their educational pursuits. Keti’s leadership at DMF reflects her deep commitment to empowering others through the transformative impact of education.

Dan is an accomplished attorney who advises multinational corporations on complex issues involving data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. As the husband of Keti Wade, the founder of the David Mebuke Foundation (DMF), Dan has seen firsthand the challenges first-generation immigrants encounter in achieving their educational goals and the American Dream. Inspired by Keti’s dedication and the resilience of those striving for a brighter future, Dan partnered with her to establish DMF. Together, they work to provide support, resources, and opportunities that empower and uplift students of diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.
